The National Telecommunications Commission Regional Office
No. 2 (NTCR2) is a project of the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) under its Development
and Improvement of Nationwide Radio Monitoring Facilities Program. It was formally inaugurated on November 28, 1988.
The NTC R2 has been assigned the responsibility for certain NTC licensing, monitoring and enforcement functions.
The office maintains ongoing liaison amongst the regional offices; represent the Commission in meetings and maintain
rapport with the people of the regions.
A Regional Director heads the NTCR2. It is made up of Administrative and Finance Division (AFD) and Technical Operations and Enforcement Division (TOED). The AFD, headed by the Administrative Officer, is responsible for handling the budget and accounting matters, personnel, and general administrative services. The TOED, headed by an Engineer, is responsible for assigned licensing, planning, and enforcement functions of the office.
